Horror Stories:
This HOA hired an unlicensed plumber for a $210K project in July 2018, paid higher-than-agreed fees in 2020 for works done in 2018 and 2019 (maybe because the guy got his license in June 2019…), provided a logically forged contract 3 years later by one of the attorneys only. They paid outrages price for related drywall work to the company owned by the husband of the property management company’s owner without budget and disclosure of conflict of interest available upon member’s requests. They had the legal counsels wrongfully denied owner’s rights to inspect HOA records, so we have no idea how many other things they’ve done to abuse the HOA funds but they are calling to raise the monthly dues by 20% in the Aug 2022 meeting.
